The Lensun 100 Watt Portable solar system is like other folding systems that can easily add solar to your RV, Boat or vehicle anywhere, except these panels are ¼ the weight and size of a conventional system. This system has laminated monocrystalline solar panels meaning they are somewhat flexible while remaining durable. The Monocrystalline design makes these panels more efficient over polysilicone. They measure 23” x 17” x 2.5” folded up and about 51” wide open. They include 16’ of power cable connected to the included PWM charge controller. Only weighing 8 lbs the whole system is extremely light and very easy to store. We tested these panels off grid for a few weeks and found them to output around 70 watts of charge to our 12V system in the winter sun. Setting the panels up is easy with the included aluminum legs that allow you to angle the panels into the sun with a max angle of about 45 degrees. The supporting legs are the only thing I feel could be a weak point to the system as they are a little bit flimsy. Overall we feel like this is a well built system that makes a ton of sense in design portability and ease of use.
