Eazeye computer monitor is being advertised as the world’s first naturally backlit monitor. It uses a different approach than either the e-ink or reflective LCD monitors, by transmitting the light from the back of the monitor through the LED cells, rather than reflecting the light coming from the front of the monitor.

To top it all off, it also has a backlight, to help the screen visibility in sub-optimal lighting conditions. On paper, all of this sounds like the perfect combination, but let’s see how it actually is in reality.
