Entering The World’s Narrowest City

Welcome to Yanjin, China – the narrowest city on the planet! This place is AWESOME!

More than 100,000 people call this distinct city home, living in high-rise structures along a slim strip of land in between steep hills and the contaminated brownish River. The imposing mountains in every direction make it really feel as though the city is entraped in a sensational, yet tough, landscape.

Also – this is my very first time seeing country China, and I need to admit, it’s been a refreshing adjustment from the hustle and bustle of enormous cities like Beijing or Shanghai. The slower speed, tight-knit community, and the way life lugs on below, despite the obvious restrictions, have actually been absolutely eye-opening.

Landmass China contains surprises, and Yanjin is simply one of the several covert treasures that I’ve discovered on this 18 excursion.
