Europe experiences record heatwaves as yellow heat health alert issued for most of England

All but one region in England have been issued yellow heat health alerts as temperatures are expected to soar to 30C.

Most places have been told there could be significant impacts on the health and social care sector due to the warm weather.

Climate scientist Chloe Brimicombe warns that people over 65, children, pregnant women and outdoor workers often see in increase in the numbers going to hospital during heat waves.
