Fashion Critics Reviews Spring 2021 Haute Couture (Chanel, Valentino, & Fendi)

So we are finishing out our Spring 2021 Haute Couture reviews with three big brands! We started with Chanel by Virginie Viard, who looked to weddings & family gatherings for inspiration. The collection wasn’t the worst we’ve seen from Viard’s Chanel, so I won’t complain too much. Valentino by Pierpaolo Piccoli was a cathartic collection, that touched upon his Fall 2020 collection brilliantly. If any of the Haute Couture brands were truly speaking to the moment we are living in, it was Valentino. And finally, we needed to discuss Kim Jones’ first Fendi Haute Couture collection, unfortunately. It was just well, a hot god damn fashion mess, and Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, nor Demi Moore could give any credibility.
