In which I vicariously experience fashion week by looking at photos of recent runway shows in New York, Paris, Milan, and London and reviewing (roasting) various designers. Watch out guys, next thing you know I’ll be doing stand up.

(that is a joke. lord knows this word does not need one more mediocre stand up comedian)

In all seriousness though, I really do have an incredible amount of respect for all the creative and technical genius that goes into each one of these fashion shows. I know a lot of prestigious fashion houses use their runway show as a way to make an artistic statement. It’s easy to make fun of when you imagine everyday people wearing those clothes, but there is definitely value in pushing the boundaries of what we consider wearable or beautiful. Who knows, maybe in 5 years everyone will be wearing lime green glove-shirt hybrids.
