On our way back from Lombok to Bangkok, my wife, baby son, and I flew with Garuda Indonesia, the airline of Indonesia. It was my first time to fly with them, and overall the flights were very nice and service was good. I was also impressed that, even though we were in economy class, even on the short flight from Lombok to Jakarta, they served us a meal.

The newly opened Jakarta International Airport terminal for Garuda Indonesia was also very nice, newly opened, and extremely clean. On my previous trip to Jakarta they new airport hadn’t been opened yet.

The food on Garuda Indonesia Airline was decent, not the best airplane food I’ve had, but ok.
