Speaker 1: Toady we’re taking a look at a truck bed cargo camera with rear view mirror. Now this product fits certain years and models of the Ford F-Series trucks. To ensure that it is a fit for your vehicle, you can use the vehicle fit guide located at eTrailer.com. Now this camera is located right here, but the bezel or the bracket mounts directly behind the third brake light on your vehicle. Everything still functions the same, but now you’ve just added a camera to your third brake light assembly. It’s a custom-fit design, so it ensures that it matches up perfectly with your vehicle and maintains that factory or OEM look.

The camera itself can be adjusted a little bit to get the angle you need for your application.Now this system is great. It allows you to monitor and see what’s going on in the cargo area or bed of your truck. This is perfect for if you have a fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch. It really helps makes it easier when connecting to your trailer. It comes with all the necessary installation items, and then this right here is your rear view mirror, so you can see there that it’s got a nice reflection to it, and then over on this side, we have the actual monitor that allows us to view what our camera is seeing.Now depending on how you wire it, that’s going to determine when the display appears here on the mirror, and so basically what you have is you have your ground wires and you have your power wires.

If you run your power wire to the reverse circuit, then this will come on anytime you engage your reverse gear. If you run it to a constant or ignition power, then it’s going to be on all the time and may interfere with the actual rear view capabilities of a standard mirror, but this is a direct replacement. It replaces the rear view mirror in your vehicle, and it functions as a monitor. That way, you can see what’s going on in the bed of the truck.You can also press the power button right here in the center, and that allows you to gain access to a menu option, which gives you the ability to adjust your brightness. Then when that’s turned off, you can see there it looks just like a standard rear view mirror, and then when the camera’s activated, the monitor portion will automatically be visible.It has a really nice response time.
