‘He doesn’t want to say it’: Joe Biden stepping aside due to ‘medical health issue’

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer says Joe Biden is stepping aside because of a “medical health issue” but the president “doesn’t want to say it.

Joe Biden has ended his re-election campaign and endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate.

“Nowhere in that letter does he explain why he’s not running for re-election,” Mr Spicer told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“That’s a concern that I think we should be asking because I think the reality is what we know – that it’s a medical health issue – but he doesn’t want to say it.”
