Hello there and welcome to our network! We are Alex & Emma, a British couple that have been exploring the world together for over 10 years – from backpacking to vanlife:.

2012/13: We both embarked on our very own solo backpacking trips with Southeast Asia, where we would ultimately satisfy at a hostel in the mountains of Thailand and begin taking a trip together. After a year and a half of backpacking around Southeast Asia & Australia, we returned home and to the company world!

2015: Travel Beans was birthed and we shot our first videos on a journey around Europe with pals! This was our most significant journey. and you can return and view the entire adventure since we recorded ALL of it! This journey took us via Russia, Mongolia & China, on the longest railway journey worldwide. Followed by highlights such as remaining on a regional island in the Maldives for a month, taking place safari in Sri Lanka, couchsurfing & bumming a ride in Korea, seeing the snow monkeys in Japan, island jumping in the Philippines, hiking 60km via the centre of Myanmar, exploring the Indian Himalayas, and taking a look at some of the amazing US National Parks.

2016: Despite an incredibly memorable year and a half of travels, which we were extremely happy to have had the benefit to experience. we discovered ourselves in New York City, battling clinical depression. Now, we chose to go home and confront this issue head-on.

2017: After 6 tough months at home we made a decision to disappear again, however this time around with an objective in mind. to turn take a trip into a lifestyle. We left the UK with just ₤ 500 in our checking account and a dream to make a constant travel way of living take place! We both obtained online English teaching tasks to be able to money our journeys and to maintain developing video clips. We can’t fairly think that our more youthful selves decided to take this dive however we are so grateful they did as we are still on this trip today!

What now?
