Major Upgrade For The “Restoration Department”. The Harbor Freight Automotive lift # 91315

I should have done this 5 years ago. I should have bought this 2 years ago. I should have installed this last year! I’ve been saying this for as long as I’ve been turning wrenches, Every year, and every time I said this, I always found a reason not to do it.
Last spring after the Yugo project was finished, I decided that that really was the last time I would do a resto on jack stands. I’m just getting to old to crawl around on the floor or slide up under one on a creeper.
I looked again at the usual suspects. 2 post lifts and 4 post lifts. The issues were that same as always. I would have to cut out the garage floor to add more concrete, and that takes time and money.
Then I saw a fellow YouTuber’s video on one of these. This started 2 months of research into Scissor lifts and the pro’s and con’s of this type of lift. After much thought and saving, I decided on the Harbor Freight model.
Welcome the newest addition to the farm. It’s been a back saver for sure and has already gone a long way towards paying for it’self.

Now, if I can jut find a decent car to restore!
