MIOPS Trigger Product Review

The MIOPS Trigger is a small device that can be attached by way of it’s hotshoe adapter directly to your camera or by screwing into a 1/4 20 threaded tripod mount away from the camera is needed. Developed by the Nero Company it offers the creative photographer with a veritable arsenal of potential trigger options for their imaging needs.

Whether you’re looking to shoot Lightning, Water Droplets, Bursting Water Balloons with Bullets or Darts or indeed catching imagery of super elusive Wildlife then this little device is something that should appeal to you. It comes programmed with a number of scenarios:

Each with their respective and customisable parameters allows the user to fine tune the MIOPS Trigger to suit their very exact needs. As a Wildlife Photographer I am eager to be able to set this unit up in a Laser triggered camera trap scenario in order to photograph an event or species that would otherwise, due to my presence not show itself.
