ANNOYING & UNREALISTIC FASHION TRENDS FROM INSTAGRAM in 2018 / INSTAGRAM FASHION TRENDS THAT NEED TO STOP //
This is designed to be a thought provoking look at how social media influences us, and how certain fashion trends (especially the ones that hang around for long periods of time!) can encourage us to buy and wear things we didn’t originally like. It’s also a look at popular styles that are commonly portrayed on Instagram as suitable daywear, when in reality (for your average day at least!) it would be difficult to pull off!!…. E.g. Vinyl trousers, long floral gowns, crop tops with low-rise leggings etc… This leads me to my final thought which is; as consumers do we end up buying and amassing things that we discover aren’t that practical or comfortable outside of Instagram? Speaking for myself, I can say that I certainly have!
