The legends that surround the Bermuda Triangle are numerous and bewitching, but many of them can be “explained” in one way or another. But when it comes to Carolyn Cascio, her disappearance via the Triangle is much more haunting.

John Reed went on a trip from California to Brazil in 1980. What was the purpose of him going so far from home? This disappearance took place in 1997, where one Judy Smith was trying to enjoy a nice time with her new husband. Her husband, Jeffrey, was a businessman, and in fact was going on a trip to Philadelphia. Deciding to spend some more time with her new husband, she went with him to Philly. During the trip, he had to go attend a meeting, so she decided to go and wander around the city on her own. She was never seen alive again.

In 2001, the two joined their longtime organization Maranatha Volunteers International on a trip to Costa Rica.
