SCHIAPARELLI IS BORN AGAIN (Fall 2022 Haute Couture Fashion Show Review)

The first of the Fall 2022 Haute Couture reviews is here and it is covering none other than Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli. The collection titled “Born Again” was a take on the way fashion is criticized for being “silly” and also was a display of beautiful things being made just because they are beautiful things without apologizing for it. Elsa Schiaparelli references were found throughout from nods to collaborations with artist Jean Cocteau, famous headwear, and even her love of flowers. Roseberry also referenced designers like Alexander McQueen and Yves Saint Laurent who actively for inspiration in Schiaparelli’s work as well.
