The UK automotive sector is bucking the trend. 2014 saw over 1.5 million vehicles and 2.5 million engines produced in the UK, that’s a vehicle rolling off a UK production line every twenty minutes. It is also highly diverse – spanning the manufacture of cars, vans, buses, trucks, construction vehicles, tractors and motorcyles alongside automotive parts and tyres.
